I was born and raised in South Africa but have Swedish heritage from both sides of my family and currently in my third semester of Economy and Society. Since joining Lundaekonomerna, I have truly come to understand what it means to be part of this community. Over the past year, I have experienced both the fun and dedication that goes into making Lundaekonomerna what it is. This has motivated me to give back and contribute to the future of an organization that has given me so much. I see the General Council as an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, represent fellow students, and help shape the continued development of Lundaekonomerna. I believe my experiences, perspective, and commitment would allow me to contribute positively to the Council.
I believe some of the most important questions for LundaEkonomerna in the coming year are how we can strengthen our community, ensure all students feel represented and drive internationalism. With students from many different backgrounds, I think it is important to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and encouraged to get involved, regardless of their background or experience. At the same time, we should continue developing LundaEkonomerna while preserving the traditions and culture that make it special.
I believe I am the right candidate to represent our members because I am a strong communicator who also values listening and understanding different perspectives. Through previous leadership roles I have learnt how to represent others, communicate their needs, and make tough decisions when needed. I am also very approachable, adaptable, and calm in challenging situations. I believe these qualities, combined with my structured and organised approach, would allow me to genuinely listen to our members and ensure their voices are heard within the General Council.
As a leader for my high school and swimming team captain, I regularly listened to others, and communicated their perspectives effectively. These experiences taught me to consider different viewpoints and make responsible decisions on behalf of others. As a Fadder during Novisch Week, I also learned to handle different personalities and challenging situations calmly and constructively. Together with the discipline and time management I have gained from balancing academics with competitive sports by representing Sweden on a national level , I believe this experience would help me contribute actively and responsibly to the General Council.

I am motivated to join the General Council because I want to contribute to the overall direction of LundaEkonomerna and take part in decisions that affect the organization as a whole. Being a member of the highest decision-making body comes with an important responsibility, particularly when it comes to setting priorities and ensuring that the organization’s resources are used responsibly. I am also motivated by the opportunity to represent our members’ perspectives and contribute to discussions that shape the future of LundaEkonomerna. Having been involved in several parts of the organization, I would find it meaningful to contribute on a broader level to an organization that plays such an important role in student life.
In my opinion, some of the most important questions for LundaEkonomerna during the upcoming year concern member engagement, communication, and long-term development. As the organization continues to grow, it is important to ensure that members feel heard, represented, and aware of the opportunities available to them. Clear and accessible communication, together with a strong connection between the organization and its members, will be essential for maintaining LundaEkonomerna’s relevance. At the same time, decisions should be made with a long-term perspective to ensure that the organization continues to develop responsibly and create value for both current and future members.
I believe I am the right candidate to represent our members because I am attentive, structured, and genuinely interested in understanding different perspectives. To me, representation is not simply about expressing my own opinions. It is about listening to others, asking the right questions, and considering what is best for both the members and the organization as a whole. Through my involvement in different parts of LundaEkonomerna, I have experienced the organization from several perspectives. This has helped me understand that members can have very different experiences, needs, and expectations. I would bring this understanding into the General Council and work to ensure that different voices are considered in its discussions and decisions.
I have been actively involved in LundaEkonomerna through several roles, including Vieriet, serving as a fadder twice, and working as both a marskalk and staffer. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of the organization and strengthened my skills in teamwork, communication, and organization. Through Vieriet in particular, I have gained valuable experience in planning events, collaborating with others, and creating activities that bring value to our members. My previous experiences have also taught me to take responsibility, work in a structured way, and communicate with people who have different perspectives and areas of responsibility. I believe this combination of practical experience and organizational understanding gives me a strong foundation for contributing thoughtfully and responsibly to the General Council.

What motivates me is the opportunity to contribute to LundaEkonomerna from a broader perspective and be involved in the decisions that shape the organisation as a whole. I think it would be both interesting and rewarding to step outside the perspective of a single committee and gain a better understanding of how the different parts of LundaEkonomerna work together. I am also drawn to the opportunity to meet and learn from people with different experiences and perspectives within the organisation. I see the General Council as a place where I could contribute with my own thoughts while also challenging them, and where I could continue developing as an engaged member of LundaEkonomerna.
To me, one of the most important things is to preserve and develop the welcoming feeling that makes LundaEkonomerna special. Whether you attend a pre-event at Sundeck, a sittning or a corporate event, there is a certain LundaEkonomerna feeling that makes you feel welcome and often leaves you with a slightly better day. I think it is important that this feeling continues to be accessible to everyone. Whether you are an exchange student, new to Lund, or have been part of LundaEkonomerna for several years. At the same time, we need to keep developing the organisation sustainably, both socially and financially. Finding the right balance between continuing to create value for our members and making sure the organisation has a sustainable financial foundation will be crucial going forward.
I believe I would bring both a genuine commitment to LundaEkonomerna and a willingness to take responsibility and contribute actively to discussions. I'm solution-oriented and comfortable asking questions and sharing perspectives that may not always be the first ones considered. At the same time, I believe representing our members means remembering that the General Council makes decisions for a large and diverse student community. I would therefore aim to combine my own perspective with an open mind, listen to others, and make thoughtful decisions based on what creates value for LundaEkonomerna as a whole.
During my time in LundaEkonomerna, I have had the opportunity to take part in several different aspects of the organisation. I have been a marshal at the Jubilee, a fadder, a staffer at corporate events, and a Communications Coordinator in the Carnival X Committee. As Communications Coordinator, I have worked closely with my fellow committee members to develop ideas and drive projects forward together. I really enjoyed being part of a team where we could turn ideas into something tangible, such as the new LundaEkonomerna songbook. I hope to bring that same engagement, collaborative mindset, and willingness to contribute to the General Council.

As a French-Swedish Economy & Society student, I have been involved in LundaEkonomerna since my first year. Through the Nominations Committee, I have nominated Project Leaders and attended every GC meeting, which made me want to take the next step and contribute directly to LE’s decisions and future. I enjoy sharing my perspective and discussing issues that matter to students. I would also bring an international perspective, while understanding the Swedish context. Having experienced LE as both a “black leg” member and a father during Novice Week, I have seen the union from different generations and perspectives. I now want to use these experiences to represent students, contribute to meaningful discussions, and help shape LE’s future.
Having recruited Project Leaders for LE’s committees and attended the GC throughout my first year, I have had the opportunity to see what works well and where there is room to improve. I believe internationalisation, student involvement and student life should remain key priorities. LE should continue creating opportunities for students to get involved, helping committees grow, and ensuring that everyone — full-time, exchange and elective students — feels welcomed and part of the community. At the same time, LE should keep developing as an international and inclusive union, while maintaining the strong student life that makes the association special.
I believe I can represent our members’ voice by being open, welcoming, critical and willing to speak my mind. These are qualities I have developed through my involvement in LE and believe are important for a GC member. Being around the GC throughout last year gave me the opportunity to see what makes a great GC member: listening to different perspectives, asking questions, being constructive and standing up for what you believe in. I recognised many of these qualities in myself and want to bring them into the Council after having experienced that environment firsthand.
My involvement in LundaEkonomerna has given me experience in working with people from different backgrounds, taking responsibility, communicating and contributing to a community. From being a “black leg”, program representative and father during Novice Week, I have experienced LE from different perspectives and generations. I would bring this experience, together with my international perspective, openness and willingness to challenge ideas constructively. Most importantly, I bring a genuine passion for LE and a desire to contribute to its continued development.

I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to LundaEkonomerna from a broader perspective and take part in decisions that shape the union. Having previously been a Project Leader, I have seen how much thoughtful decisions regarding leadership, projects and resources can affect both the committees and the student experience. I would really enjoy bringing my perspective, asking relevant questions and contributing to well-considered decisions that help the union develop in a positive direction.
I believe one of the most important questions for LundaEkonomerna is how we continue developing the union while staying true to what makes it such a welcoming and inclusive organization. As the union grows and the world around us changes, I think it is important to continuously evaluate how we work and make sure that our structures, projects and resources allow us to remain both efficient and adaptable. With important decisions ahead, including the upcoming budget and future elections, I also believe the General Council has a responsibility to ensure that decisions are transparent, impartial and democratically fair. At the same time, every proposition should be considered with our members’ best in mind- this because LundaEkonomerna plays such a large role in the students time at and after LUSEM.
I believe I would be a good representative because I am a good listener and genuinely interested in understanding different perspectives before forming my own opinion. Through my previous roles within LundaEkonomerna, I have learned the importance of being attentive and mindful, traits that I think suits this role as well. I also have a good understanding of the responsibility and complexity that comes with the General Council, having both attended it and experienced the election process myself as a candidate for Project Leader. I know that the decisions made can have a real impact on both individuals and the union as a whole. I would therefore approach the role with an open mind, ask relevant questions when needed, and make well-considered decisions with our members’ in mind.
I can contribute with experience from both LundaEkonomerna and from being a student representative at the university (through LUS). As Project Leader of the Education Committee, I gained a good understanding of the union, its committees and the responsibility that comes with representing students and their interests. In my current role as a student representative, I regularly prepare for meetings by reviewing decision material, listening to different perspectives and contributing the student point of view in discussions with university representatives

Our union has given me so much during my time in Lund and has given me a sense of belonging. It is because of this union that I have found friends for life. I value and appreciate everything that Lundaekonomerna offers and would be honored to get the chance to give back to the members. I would love to be a part of the General Council because I see it as my opportunity to make sure that all the current and new students at LUSEM gets the the same chance I have had to have the most amazing time in Lund.
I believe that one of the most important questions for LundaEkonomerna during the upcoming year is how we can make the union more inclusive for international students and non-active members. It is important that everyone feels that LundaEkonomerna is a union for all students, not only those who are active in our committees. Making sure that everyone feels welcome and has the opportunity to participate in our events and activities is something I believe we should continue to work towards. Another important question is maintaining a stable and sustainable economy. A strong financial foundation allows the union to continue providing the activities and events that our members value. At the same time, financial challenges can have a direct impact on our members, for example through higher event prices, as well as on the committees and individuals responsible for organising these events through reduced budgets.
I have stood in front of the General Council myself, so I know how stressful and challenging it can be to stand in front of so many people while trying to make the best impression, especially when you are nervous. When you are standing in front of a group of people who are there to evaluate you, it can be difficult to relax and show your true personality. I know how much it helped me to see a kind and supportive face rather than one that made me feel judged. Because of this experience, I believe I can contribute to creating a calmer and more welcoming environment where applicants feel comfortable being themselves. I also know how vulnerable you can feel when you leave the room and have no idea what is being said about you. I will make sure that every applicant is discussed with respect and that everyone is given a fair and thoughtful consideration. As an active member, I have also had the opportunity to meet and connect with many different members of the union. This has given me insight into the different views, experiences, and opinions within LundaEkonomerna. I believe this makes me well suited to represent our members' voices, and I will always keep their interests in mind when making decisions and taking a stand in the General Council.
As a former member of the Vieri Committee, I have learned a lot about LundaEkonomerna as a union. I have experienced first-hand the consequences of decisions made by the General Council and can therefore contribute valuable insight into both what the union does well and where there is room for improvement. Through my involvement in LundaEkonomerna, I have also had the opportunity to work with different project leaders, both as an active member and as a marshall. This has given me a good understanding of the qualities that make a good leader, as well as what members expect from a project leader. I believe this experience would be valuable when discussing and evaluating candidates for leadership positions within the union. More broadly, being an active member of LundaEkonomerna has given me a first-hand understanding of what matters to both the union and its members. As part of the General Council, I would be able to bring these experiences and perspectives into the highest decision-making body of the union. I believe that having experienced the union from different perspectives allows me to contribute insights that cannot be gained from simply observing it from the outside.

I want to help shape the organisation that has already given me so much this fall as a Fadder. Being part of the General Council would let me take that involvement a step further, from just participating in activities to actually being involved in the decisions behind them. What matters most to me is making sure those decisions actually reflect what members experience day to day, not just what looks good on paper. Working at Handelsbanken has taught me a lot about taking responsibility and making decisions people can actually rely on, and I want to bring that same mindset, along with the energy I have put into Malmö Nation's Events Committee and my time as CFO of my UF company, into a role where I get to take on important responsibility for LundaEkonomerna.
I believe the most important priority is strengthening LundaEkonomerna's connection to the job market. That involves making sure students have real, accessible opportunities to meet employers well before graduation. That means more recruiting events, closer collaboration with companies, and practical support like CV and interview preparation, so members leave their studies not just with a degree but with a sense of direction and a network to back it up. In a competitive job market, this is where a student union can make the most difference in members' futures.
At Handelsbanken I work with people all day, and a lot of it comes down to actually listening before jumping to a solution, whether it's a customer with a complicated case or a colleague who needs something done right. I think that's the same mindset that matters for representing members: not assuming you already know what people want, but actually asking and following up. Being a Fadder this fall has also put me close to that group, so I already have a decent sense of what is on people's minds.
In my role at Handelsbanken, I handle a broad range of responsibilities, from BankID verifications to estate settlement cases, all of which require well-considered judgment on a daily basis, often under time pressure and with information that still has to hold up to regulations. This has sharpened my ability to make careful, accountable decisions, a skill I believe is directly relevant to serving on a decision-making body. As I mentioned in previous questions, I was also a Fadder during HT26, which gave me practical involvement in student life at LundaEkonomerna. In addition, through Malmö Nation's Events Committee I've been part of a team responsible for delivering recurring events reliably, preparing "sittningar" and coordinating with other team-members under pressure. Together, this combination of decision-making experience and active involvement in student life is what I would bring to the General Council.

My biggest motivation for joining the General Council is to give something back to LundaEkonomerna. During my time in the union, I've gained so much like friendships, experience, and opportunities, and being part of the General Council feels like a natural way to say thank you by helping drive the union forward from this point. I want to contribute with new insight and perspectives, and be part of making sure LundaEkonomerna keeps developing and becomes even greater than it already is.
The question I believe is most important for the upcoming year is our finances. More specifically, finding ways to be more cost-efficient so we can still perform and deliver value at the same level as before without having a negative impact on the union's economy. Everyone in the union is aware that we're currently struggling financially, and this affects everything else we do. Without a stable financial foundation, it becomes much harder to maintain the quality of our events and activities, and to offer members the same opportunities that LundaEkonomerna has historically been known for. Finding sustainable solutions to this will be key to safeguarding what makes our union special.
I believe in a General Council that represents ALL members of LundaEkonomerna, not just those who are most visible or speak the loudest. LundaEkonomerna consists of all of us working together, not only the committee or person who happens to represent it at any given moment. In my position as heromaster for Sexmästeriet, I have, over the past year and a half, had countless interactions with members from across the union, both active and non-active, from one-on-one conversations during the heroteam interviews to meeting the majority of all LundaEkonomerna at sittningar. This has helped me shape a broad understanding of what the union stands for, not just my own single opinion, but one that's been influenced by many different people, and it has helped me to develop an understanding of the people in the union. Considering the above, I believe that I can bring a voice that reflects the whole union rather than only one part of it.
For the past one year, I've been the heromaster for Sexmästeriet. Being responsible for the heroteam, I have held numerous interviews and developed my ability to understand people, such as their motives and capabilities, in a short amount of time, something I see as very valuable for the role on the General Council. Furthermore, working at every sittning with Sexmästeriet might at first sight seem like being part of just one small part of union life, but it's actually one of the few times the entire union gets a chance to come together, which means it plays a big role in how members experience and perceive LundaEkonomerna as a whole. I have gained valuable insight from our sittningar and the culture existing there, and could therefore contribute with the "behind-the-scenes" perspective when discussing such questions, since as mentioned, they are of big importance. Through Sexmästeriet, I also came into contact with a large part of the union's committees like CC, EEE, Social, the novice committee, LE Band and LE Choir, and also got to meet members from across every committee at bigger gatherings like Astro and VB. Being in contact with so many different committees has given me respect for each and every one of them and their work, and an understanding of how important each part is to LundaEkonomerna as a whole. This has given me a wide understanding of the union beyond just Sexmästeriet.

During my time at LUSEM, LundaEkonomerna has become a big part of my student life. Through my involvement in the Novice Committee, I have had the opportunity to experience the union from within and see how much work goes into creating opportunities, events and a sense of community for students. This has made me want to understand and contribute to the organisation on a broader level. What particularly motivates me about the General Council is the opportunity to have an impact beyond one specific committee or project. I would like to contribute to discussions about the long-term direction of LundaEkonomerna and take part in decisions that affect the entire organisation and its members. I also see it as an opportunity to learn more about how the union operates strategically and financially, while contributing my own experiences and perspectives. Above all, I care a lot about LundaEkonomerna and would find it very rewarding to take on a new kind of responsibility within an organisation that has given me so much during my time in Lund.
I believe one of the most important questions is how LundaEkonomerna can continue to be an organisation where all members feel represented and included. With such a large and diverse group of students, it is important that the union offers opportunities that appeal to different interests, ambitions and backgrounds, and that students feel that there is a place for them regardless of how involved they choose to be. From my experience in the Novice Committee, I have especially seen how important the first interaction with LundaEkonomerna can be. Creating an inclusive environment from the beginning, for both Swedish and international students, can have a significant impact on whether students feel that they belong and want to become involved later on. I also think it is important to continuously evaluate how the union uses its resources and develops its activities. LundaEkonomerna should preserve the traditions and activities that members value, while still being willing to question existing ways of working and adapt to what current and future students actually need. For me, the balance between continuity and development is therefore an important question for the coming year.
I believe I would be a good representative because I am genuinely interested in understanding different perspectives before forming an opinion. Representing the members should not primarily be about pushing your own ideas, but about listening, asking questions and making decisions based on what is best for the organisation and its members as a whole. Through my involvement in LundaEkonomerna, my studies and my everyday student life at LUSEM, I interact with students with very different experiences and levels of involvement in the union. I think this is valuable because the General Council should represent not only the students who are already highly engaged, but the entire membership. As a person, I am structured, analytical and not afraid to speak up when I believe something is important. At the same time, I am open to changing my perspective when presented with good arguments. I would approach the responsibility with curiosity, preparation and an open mind, and I would always aim to make decisions that I believe create the most value for LundaEkonomerna's members.
My main experience comes from my involvement in LundaEkonomerna, where I have had the opportunity to take on different roles, including Communications Coordinator and Event Coordinator in the Novice Committee. These experiences have given me insight into different parts of the organisation and a good understanding of the amount of planning, collaboration and responsibility that goes into creating value for our members. Through the Novice Committee, I have worked closely with a team on large projects involving hundreds of students, while being responsible for communication, social media, photo and video content, and sponsor-related material. My experience as an Event Coordinator has further developed my ability to plan and organise events, work together with different people and take responsibility for turning ideas into something that works in practice. Having experienced LundaEkonomerna through different roles has also given me a broader perspective on how decisions within the organisation affect its committees, events and ultimately its members. Finally, I can contribute with the perspective of someone who has been actively involved in LundaEkonomerna and understands the organisation from a committee level, while still being curious about the bigger picture. I would bring both practical experience and a willingness to ask questions, learn and contribute to well-considered decisions.

The exciting opportunity to do something meaningful and the chance to influence Lundaekonomerna as a whole in a way that differs from work in other committees. Being part of the General Council also seems like a challenging but funny task as I would get to share my ideas with others as well as listen to other people's perspective on things. Sometimes you hear something you agree with, sometimes not and I am always looking for a good debate!
Since I am a new student at LUSEM, I am not sure what has been discussed and voted for in the past. However, I do not think that will have an impact on my ability to highlight and vote for things I feel would help shape Lundaekonomerna according to the goals. The most important question for me would be regarding the budget. What is currently being funded by it and what could need more funding?
Because I would do my absolute best to make sure that Lundaekonomerna continues to develop in a sound and as efficient a manner as possible.
Before moving to Lund I was head coach for one of the youth groups at my Judo club, Judoklubben Budo, in Gothenburg. To be caring in the best possible way of things I care about is in my nature. That is why I pursued the role as head coach , a role that I kept for two years, and helped shape the group in line with the club’s values. Ensuring that both I and my fellow students enjoy our time here in Lund as much as possible is also something close to my heart, and a seat on the council would certainly contribute to that. I am also interested in politics and previously served on the student council at one of my former schools.

I want to be part of the General Council because I think it seems both fun and interesting to be involved in the decisions within LundaEkonomerna. I like meeting new people, hearing what they want to do and discussing different ideas. I also think it would be a good way for me to learn more about the union and get involved in a different way than I have before.
I think I would represent the members well because I take decisions seriously and I am not interested in choosing the easiest or most popular option just for the sake of it. I want to understand the different sides of a decision before taking a position, and I am also comfortable changing my mind if someone makes a better argument. In a council where you sometimes have to choose between several strong candidates or proposals, I think that is important.
I think I would be a good fit because I really enjoy social settings and meeting different kinds of people. I usually find it easy to talk to people, understand where they are coming from and hear different opinions without making things more complicated than they need to be. I also like discussing things and being part of a group where people think differently. I think that would help me represent the members in a way that feels natural, rather than just going into the council with my own fixed view on everything.
I have been a Marshal in LundaEkonomerna, which gave me experience of working closely with different people in a social setting. I have also had several different kinds of jobs, and I think that has helped me understand that people can be good at very different things. Because of that, I think I am quite good at seeing what type of person could fit a certain role and what different people can bring to a group. I also think I have become good at quickly getting a sense of how people work with others, which I believe could be useful when meeting and discussing different candidates.

Like many others, I first came into contact with LundaEkonomerna through Novice Week. This introduced me to the union and later led to my involvement. Having been an active member of LundaEkonomerna, I have come to truly appreciate the valuable services the union provides both active and non-active members. I believe that everything from the eeeDays to sittningar plays an important role in our education and experience. I would therefore like to give back to the union and help ensure that future students can enjoy the same experience that I have.
The most important questions for LundaEkonomerna are in my opinion: 1. How can we ensure long-term financial stability for the union? 2. What actions can we as a union take to make more people interested in joining the union? 3. Seeing as we are an international union, how can we ensure international students feel welcome and inclined to become active members? These questions are important to me because I want our union to be able to continue organizing sittningar, corporate events, speak-up days and Novice Week. For it to continue, I believe that a strong financial foundation and engaged members are essential. I also believe that all students should feel welcome and have an opportunity to get involved, which is why I value the inclusion of international students.
I believe I would be a good representative of our members because I care about the union and have a genuine interest in people and their perspectives. My involvement in LE Choir has given me insight into the union and the opportunity to get to know people in different roles. I would like to build on this by listening to what matters to both active and non-active members. In the General Council, I would make an effort to understand and represent opinions besides my own. I am driven and would take my responsibility of representing the members' seriously.
My work experience prior to my studies taught me that important decisions are best made as a group. When a problem arose, teamwork helped us find the best solution. This is why I value the General Council. Having sat in on a meeting, I saw how open discussion is central to its decision-making process, which I believe leads to the best results. Besides my work experience, I was involved in LE Choir, which gave me insights into how the union works and a connection to the people active in it. Through this, I had the pleasure of meeting project leaders, active members and the Board. Getting to know these people and gaining an understanding of how the union and the committees in it work is something I believe would be valuable when contributing to the decision-making process.

What motivates me is the opportunity to improve our campus and contribute to the betterment of student life for both myself and those around me. I want to actively contribute to making our time at LUSEM more enjoyable and meaningful, while leaving a positive impact on the community.
I think one of the most important questions is how LundaEkonomerna can become more inclusive and representative of the diverse community we have, ensuring that students from different backgrounds and experiences feel heard, involved, and represented.
As an international student, I’ve really enjoyed my time at LUSEM. At the same time, I’ve noticed situations where there is room for improvement and change. I believe I can represent our members by genuinely listening to different perspectives and suggestions, and working as neutrally and openly as possible towards what is best for the student community at LUSEM.
During my time at high school in Qatar, I served as President of the Student Council and later as Head of the Principal’s Advisory Committee. These roles taught me a lot about leadership, representation, and especially governance. I believe this experience can help guide me in making thoughtful and well-informed decisions within my responsibilities as a member of the General Council.

LundaEkonomerna has been a huge part of my student life, and joining the General Council once again feels like the natural next step for me to give back. I really want to be in the room where decisions are made, helping steer the union's bigger picture and making sure the choices truly benefit all of us studying here. What excites me the most is the chance to help elect our next project leaders. Our committees are a huge part of the union, but they only succeed when driven by passionate, capable people. Being part of recognizing that spark in applicants and trusting them to take our initiatives forward is a part of the union I want to be a part of. I want to bring my energy, common sense, and perspective to the discussions, ask the thoughtful questions, and work alongside other engaged students to keep pushing our union forward.
I believe the most important issues for the union are ensuring that the new budget is set in a way that gives the committees the opportunity to develop and achieve their goals. Beyond that, it is crucial that the upcoming project leaders are driven and truly the best fit for their roles. The General Council is a great way to gain insight into the union and help act as a bridge between the students, the union, the school, and the board.
I want to be part of the General Council because I genuinely care about doing the work thoroughly and keeping the students’ best interests in focus. I’m naturally curious, thoughtful, and not hesitant to ask the practical questions before we vote on budgets or strategic directions. When it comes to selecting future project leaders, I look beyond a polished impression. I care most about finding people who show genuine commitment, reliability, and the ability to bring a team together. I’m ready to listen, read the documents carefully, and contribute with a grounded, fair mindset to every decision we make.
Ever since I started studying in Lund, I have been active in LundaEkonomerna, both as a coordinator, project leader, and as a member of the General Council. This has given me a deep understanding of how the union is structured, what matters most to our members, and how to conduct interviews where candidates feel genuinely welcome. Beyond my union involvement, my extensive work experience in people-focused and decision-heavy environments gives me a very solid foundation for this kind of work.
